Packaging innovation receives the ADI DESIGN award
The ADI DESIGN (Association for Industrial Design) is one of the most prestigious awards in the Italian design scene and to receive an award in this field is always a great honour for us.
In 2020, ADV Combipac was chosen from among a highly competitive group of projects, demonstrating the excellence and originality of the product.
Combipac is more than just a simple housing for a packaging system; it is the result of a close-knit partnership with CFT Robotics - CFT Group, a leading customer in the industry, and Formest.
The stand-out feature of this project is its modularity. It consists of a variable number of standard modules and can thus be configured to specific production process requirements.
Carton assembly, filling, closing and palletising are integrated in an all-in-one machine, thus simplifying and improving production efficiency.
Its internal carbon steel and stainless steel structure is designed to withstand the vibrations produced by robot inertia.
But there is a whole lot more to ADV Combipac’s innovation. The design features soft shapes and large windows that not only make the structure seem lighter, but also increase the visibility and brightness of the work area, allowing processes to be monitored from all directions.
