In September 2022, we had the pleasure of participating in the Welcome design Workshops, creative workshops organised by the Iuav University of Venice in collaboration with several companies in the Veneto region.
The 2022 edition, entitled “Design Roots-Germogli del cambiamento”, aimed to investigate the background, history and culture of the companies involved in the project in order to better understand their origins and identity.
For one week, Formest was fertile ground for 20 talented designers-in-training to cultivate their creative perspectives.
These young minds came together and created an integrated communication project designed to tell the story, values and essence of Formest with a fresh and innovative look.

Formest’s expertise in the art of sheet metal was combined with the energy and fresh ideas of the young designers, generating an experience of mutual exchange and shared inspiration.
The projects completed by the young designers are on display in an exhibition at our production site until September 2023, where they will be replaced by projects for the new edition of WDW.
