Machine Guarding for Industrial Digital Printer
The manufacturing of the housing for this industrial plotter is an example of our design to cost and mass-production capability. The light metalworking was designed to facilitate the manufacturing and installation process.
Right from the creation of the design of this industrial body, the concept of modularity and functionality was developed to create a series of sliding doors that facilitate operator access at every stage of the production process.
The mechanical design solutions identified for the manufacture of the machine fairing made it possible to fulfil the requests for a custom industrial layout based on the customer’s requirements.
The design methods and processes are geared towards mass production and facilitate storage of the final product. This machine guarding is delivered fully assembled: light metalworking structure, polycarbonate panels and accessories such as runners, gaskets and handles.
