Certifications
The contexts in which industrial guards are integrated are complex systems, where people, technologies, and organizational structures interact.
Engineering does not focus solely on compliance with regulatory requirements, but also considers the real use of the solutions: accessibility, spatial perception, the relationship between operator and machine, as well as aspects such as materials, colors, and acoustic comfort.
This approach guides Formest’s work and is also reflected in its membership in ADI – Associazione per il Disegno Industriale, with which it shares a vision of quality as the result of conscious and responsible design decisions.
On these foundations, Formest’s management system is structured to ensure quality, safety, process reliability, and regulatory compliance across all phases of engineering, manufacturing, and installation.
Certifications are not a formal obligation, but an operational tool that supports daily activities, from technical project definition to final delivery and installation.
UNI EN ISO 14001
Environmental Management System
Formest adopts an environmental management system aimed at reducing the impact of production processes and continuously improving environmental performance.
The ISO 14001 standard supports a conscious approach to resource management, control of environmental aspects, and compliance with applicable regulations, within a framework of operational responsibility and sustainability.
UNI EN ISO 45001
Occupational Health and Safety Management System
Compliance with ISO 45001 requirements enables structured control of production processes, ensures activity traceability, and contributes to reducing risks for operators as well as for customer assembly and maintenance teams.
UNI EN ISO 9001
Quality and Safety Management System
We operate according to a certified management system covering the design, manufacturing, and assembly of industrial guards for machines and plants, as well as mechanical processing and light sheet metal fabrication carried out according to customer specifications,
while continuously improving supply reliability and operational continuity.
UNI EN ISO 3834-2
Welding Process Certification
Formest is certified for arc welding processes applied to structural metal fabrication in carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
ISO 3834-2 certification guarantees qualification of welding procedures, control of process parameters, employment of qualified personnel and, when previously required, material traceability, ensuring quality consistency and long-term reliability of structural joints.
EN 1090-1
Structural Metallic Components
We are certified for the manufacture of structural metallic components in steel according to EN 1090-1 EXC 3.
The certification allows CE marking of components and certifies Factory Production Control (FPC), compliance with mechanical and structural requirements, and product suitability for industrial applications.
